CISUC Researchers win Best Paper Award at EvoStar 2012
CISUC researchers Jorge Tavares and Francisco B. Pereira have won the "Best Paper Award" at the prestigious EuroGP 2012 conference (15th European Conference on Genetic Programming) which took place in Malaga from the 11th to the 13th of April 2012
The first edition of EuroGP took place in 1998 and since then, the conference has been considered the best in the world in the area of Genetic Programming.
The awarded paper "Automatic Design of Ant Algorithms with Grammatical Evolution", presents a computational platform for the automatic development of optimization methods based on ant colonies.
