CISUC Researchers win Best Paper Awards at GECCO 2012
CISUC researchers Alberto Moraglio and Luís Paquete bring home the glory.
The Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO) is considered to be the most important conference in the area of bio-inspired computation. This year, CISUC´s research group ECOS, were once more distinguished with two awards:
- Alberto Moraglio, got the best paper award of the Genetic Algorithms track
- Luís Paquete is co-author of the paper that got the Impact Factor Award. This award is given to the paper published in GECCO'2002, that was the most cited one in a 10 years period (2002 - 2012).
