Short Bio

Stanley Lima holds a degree in Robotic Automation and Industrial Control from the Vale de Cambra Technological School / ISEP (2011). Postgraduate in Software Engineering - UNIEURO. Master student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Brasilia - UnB. He is currently a student on the doctoral program in information science and technology in the Department of Informatics Engineering, University of Coimbra, as well as a member of the Information Systems Research Group. His PhD is funded by the National Program of Space Activities (PNAE) 2012-2021, in cooperation with the Brazilian Space Agency. While studying for his master’s degree in software engineering, he worked at the General Headquarters of the Brazilian Army in Brasilia on theCORTEX project (middleware for communication between armoured cars). In 2015, after completing his master’s degree, Stanley worked in the Department of Computer Science at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, with a focus on microservices architecture, DevOps, cloud-native application architecture and related technologies.
