Mariana Seiça is an audiovisual designer, with a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Design and Multimedia in the University of Coimbra. She is currently a PhD student at the same institution, enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Information Science and Technology, as well as a teaching assistant in both Bachelor and Master degree courses.She is a research member of the Computational Design and Visualization Lab, with her research focusing on sound as a communication tool. Her research themes include Sound Design, Computational Aesthetics and Human-Computer Interaction, with a particular interest in the Sonification and Computational Music fields, where she embraces her enthusiasm for musical forms.
