Abstract
This report details the work developed in Laboratory of Adaptive Systems and Parallel Processing (LASPP), Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, during the months of September and part of October of 2005. It consisted of adapting previous processing and learning systems (achieved in May-June 2005) to a new enlarged text data set that will make further experiments possible.The parallelization of SVM using a parallelization data approach was applied to text categorization, with the goal of gaining time and possibly classification performance by using an ensemble.
