AIDNat: an Intelligent Data Analysis Tool for the Swimming Domain
Authors
Abstract
In any scientific field, data analysis is fundamental for knowledge creation and theory validation. But the analysis of complex data is a difficult task, especially when dealing with a huge amount of data. Performing an exhaustive search in the space of possible hypotheses is almost impossible, and most of the times, researchers follow their intuitions. Data mining is a methodology that allows an exhaustive data analysis in an automated way. This paper presents AIDNat, an Intelligent Data Analysis tool that can be used in the swimming domain. We have tested this tool with data of pre-junior swimming athletes, and we present some of the results.
