HeRoN: a computational model of gene regulatory networks
Authors
Abstract
In this paper a new model for Genetic Regulation Networks, with more biochemical details than previous models, is proposed. This new model is based on an artificial genome from which several products, genes, mRNA, miRNA, non-coding RNA, and proteins are extracted and connected in an heterogeneous directed graph. The dynamics of the networks are studied and some considerations about the biological meaning are made.
