Information Systems Planning For Emerging Challenges

Abstract
Most current information systems planning methods aim at producing high-level architectures, based on data and processes or objects. We claim that in a world of legacy applications and ready-made software solutions, such as ERPs, an entirely different, though theoretically sound, approach should be taken.
