Aplicações de Simulação Educacionais integradas na Web: Contribuições para o seu desenvolvimento
Authors
Abstract
In the last years the Internet and in particular the Web have been changing the form of diffusion of information and the learning processes. The potentialities of the Internet conjugated with other areas have been allowing developing new knowledge transmission, diffusion and consolidation mechanisms.Through this dissertation we started by analyzing some of the current available tools in the market that allow integrating, in a more or less automatic way, simulations into Web pages, identifying common characteristics, advantages and disadvantages.
Having in consideration the characteristics and potentialities of both the Web and Simulation in Education, we developed afterwards a group of rules, orientations and requirements that can aid the author or the teacher in the development of modelling and simulation activities integrated in the Web, as well as of authoring-tools to support them. To this group of orientations we gave the name of ESP-W (The Educational Simulation Paradigm for the Web).
To exemplify the potentialities of the ESP-W model, we also present a prototype of an authoring-tool that allows creating simulation, quasi-simulation and modelling activities integrated in the Web.
