A Model-Driven and Web-enabled Coordination Approach for Managing Synchronous Collaborative Sessions
Authors
Abstract
Work presented in this paper focuses on the proposition of a tool-and-information-oriented coordination model for synchronous collaboration sessions, supported by an adaptive layered architecture. This architecture defines a coordination medium, which allows coordination rules to be described using a service of generic labeled graphs transformations. Implementation of the architecture is based on collaborative extensions of JAVA language, and XML possibilities in terms of data structuring. The application field is related to the execution of a project review for the distributed collaborative design, which is related to a spatial-domain scenario from the European project DSE.
