Demonstration of Online Experimentation Using Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks
Authors
Abstract
The Information and Communication Technologies play increasingly a fundamental role to support online experimentation. In particular, Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks (WSAN) are simultaneously a matter of interest for several engineering courses and a way to enable remote access to laboratory experiments and real systems. This work aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of the use of WSAN, in particular using low cost implementations, for remote interaction with laboratorial systems in an online experimentation context.
