Combination of Fault Detection Approaches for Networked Control Systems

Authors

Abstract

In this paper, a comparison and combination (integration) of fault detection (FD) approaches (parity equations, parameter estimation and principal components analysis) for networked control systems (NCS), is presented. Two main types of faults, in NCS, will be considered: network fixed time-delays and data inconsistency (outliers). Some experimental results are presented in order to evaluate the performance of the FD approaches. The main contributions are the comparison, combination (integration) and performance evaluation of the FD approaches.
